NACID administrative service 1642 covers records from Bulgaria's pre-school, school and vocational education and training system when an official registry entry allows direct verification. That registry availability is the decisive condition for an electronic apostille. A record outside the registers may still follow another apostille route, but the original must then be presented.

For basic and secondary education, the electronic route includes a basic-education certificate and its duplicate issued after 1 June 2009, as well as a secondary-school diploma, its supplement and duplicate issued after 1 January 2007. English, German and French versions of the diploma supplement are also listed in the registers.

For vocational education documents issued by a school, the scope includes a vocational qualification certificate, supplement and duplicate after 1 June 2008; a certificate validating a vocational qualification and its duplicate after 1 June 2014; a vocational training certificate after 1 January 2022; and a certificate validating part of a profession after 1 January 2015.

For upper-secondary stages, NACID checks the certificate, supplement and duplicate for the first stage after 1 July 2020, the second stage after 1 June 2022 and a completed upper-secondary stage after 1 June 2008. The current list also covers certificates for an examination in a subject not included in the diploma, validated competences, state matriculation examinations used for university admission, laureate status and excellent results in a national olympiad, subject to the starting dates published by NACID.

Documents from vocational training centres are electronically verifiable when issued after 1 August 2016 and entered in the register. These include certificates of qualification or training, licences and welding qualifications, validation of a full or partial vocational qualification and the corresponding duplicates listed by NACID.

A separate group consists of records issued by NACID: qualification in a non-regulated profession, recognition of secondary education obtained abroad, assurance letters, statements on grade equivalence and their duplicates. From 1 October 2025, the electronic scope also includes registered certificates and assurance letters issued by regional education departments for recognition of a term, class, basic education, upper-secondary stage or vocational qualification, together with their duplicates.

The holder's details, document number, date and issuing body in the online application must match the registry record. The result is an e-Apostille delivered to the nominated electronic address or through Bulgaria's secure electronic delivery system. La Fit Trans can review the document type, coordinate the applicable procedure and prepare the translation required by the receiving country.

NACID publishes the complete current list of 54 document types and their exact starting dates in the official description of administrative service 1642.
