Document issued in a foreign country
1. Requirements for the formatting of the document
1.1. With an APOSTILLE if it's from countries that are members of the Hague Convention
(see question: “Which countries are members of the Hague Convention?”)
1.2. If the document is from a country that is not a member of the Hague Convention and does not have a bilateral agreement with Bulgaria, it must be issued as an original with the original stamp from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country and also bear a stamp from the Bulgarian embassy in the same country.
1.3. For countries such as North Macedonia, Romania, Russia, and others with which Bulgaria has bilateral agreements, the document can be legalized without an APOSTILLE
