1. Requirements for the formatting of the document
1.1. Signature of the holder next to the photograph and school stamp; signatures of the headmaster and the committee; no corrections are allowed on the diploma; all blank fields must be voided with dashes; it must be legalized as a certified copy by a notary (the original is submitted for reference).

Document issued by a foreign country
Requirements for document formatting:
1.1. With APOSTILLE from countries that are members of the Hague Convention (see the question "Which countries are members of the Hague Convention?").
1.2. In cases where the document is issued in a country that is not a member of the Hague Convention and has no bilateral agreement with Bulgaria, the document must be issued as an original with a wet stamp from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the respective country and a stamp from the Bulgarian embassy in that country.
1.3. For North Macedonia, Romania, Russia, and other countries with which Bulgaria has bilateral agreements, the document can be legalized without an APOSTILLE (see the question "List of countries with which Bulgaria has signed a bilateral agreement").
