Legalization of Address Registration

This document belongs to group I. (*When the document is to be served before a country which is not a member of the Hague Convention, nor has a bilateral agreement with Bulgaria (e.g. Canada), see question "Legalization of Municipal Documents for Countries Outside the 1961 Hague Convention").

1.1. Original with a rectangular seal certifying the signatures and seals affixed by the municipality issuing the document.

2.3. Company fee for submitting the document to the Regional Administration Sofia.

2.4. State fee for the Consular Relations Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Deadline for executing the order:

Translation - 2 business days (standard order); 24 hours (quick order); within one business day (express order).

Documents issued by a foreign country.

1. Requirements for the format of the document.

1.1. With an APOSTILLE from the member states of the Hague Convention (see question "Which states are members of the Hague Convention?").

1.2. In cases where the document comes from a country which is not a member of the Hague Convention and there is no bilateral agreement, the same must be issued as an original with a fresh stamp from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country concerned and a stamp from the Bulgarian embassy in the same country.

1.3. For North Macedonia, Romania, Russia and other countries with which we have bilateral agreement, the documents can be legalized without an APOSTILLE (see question "List of countries with which Bulgaria has signed a bilateral agreement").
