An official written translation is a translation that is placed on a certified company letterhead with the La Fit Trans stamp, signed by the certified (sworn) translator who performed the translation, and attached to the source text with the company’s binding seal.

A sworn (certified) translator is a natural person authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to translate documents and other papers. Every sworn translator is included in the list of natural persons who translate documents and other papers from Bulgarian into a foreign language and from a foreign language into Bulgarian on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria, maintained by the Directorate "Consular Relations" of the MFA on the basis of Art. 18, para. 1 of the PLZPDDK.
