Translation and Legalization Prices

A complete pricing framework for translation, certification, apostille and legalization

The total price combines the translation service with any applicable certifications, administrative fees and delivery. Language, document type, volume, deadline and intended use determine the components of each quotation.

How is the total price calculated?

Written translation is priced by language combination, document group and complexity, number of translation pages and deadline. One translation page contains 1,800 characters including spaces, while current rates by language and order type appear in the translation price list.

For certified translation, apostille or legalization, only the necessary administrative services and fees are added. The final quotation separates translation, certification, institutional fees, VAT and delivery whenever applicable.

Main pricing areas

Two dedicated price lists separate written translation from certification and legalization procedures. This keeps each service in the correct context and prevents translation charges from being mixed with administrative or courier costs.

Written translation prices

The written translation price list provides rates by language, document group and order type. Prices apply to one translation page of 1,800 characters including spaces and exclude VAT. Certification, apostille, legalization and other additional procedures are priced separately.

Legalization, apostille and certification prices

Legalization rates cover separate services according to the competent authority, country of issue or destination, type of certification and selected deadline. When a procedure includes translation, notarial certification, apostille or consular service, every component is identified separately in the quotation.

What determines the final price?

The final price reflects the language pair and direction, volume, terminology, formatting, deadline and required official presentation. Documents intended for use abroad may also involve the receiving authority, applicable certification route, government or consular fees and delivery method.

An exact quotation after document review

A clear electronic copy is usually sufficient for an initial assessment. The review identifies the language, volume, formal details, intended use and required sequence of services, after which the quotation states a specific price and deadline. An original or official copy is needed only when the selected certification or administrative procedure requires it.

Frequently asked questions about prices

How is written translation priced?

The price depends on the language combination, document group and complexity, volume and deadline. One translation page contains 1,800 characters including spaces.

What does the translation price list include?

It shows written translation rates by language, document group and order type, excluding VAT. Certification, apostille, legalization and other administrative services are calculated separately.

How is the price of a certified translation calculated?

The quotation combines written translation with the required official presentation or certification. The exact form depends on the document’s intended use and the requirements of the receiving authority.

Why is the document reviewed before an exact quotation?

The review establishes language, volume, legibility, attachments, deadline and required certifications. The quotation therefore includes only services applicable to that document.

Can an exact price be established online?

Yes. In most cases, a clear electronic copy is sufficient for a preliminary price and deadline. An original is required only when the relevant procedure cannot be completed from a copy.

Are administrative and courier fees included?

When required, government, consular, notarial and courier fees are listed separately in the specific quotation together with translation and coordination charges.

A precise quotation for the specific document

The preliminary assessment covers translation, required certifications or legalization, applicable fees, deadline and delivery method. Every component of the order is therefore clear before work begins.
