Translations from and into Turkish

Turkish uses a Latin alphabet with characters and sound distinctions that do not have automatic Bulgarian equivalents. In official documents, concepts, abbreviations and names of authorities are rendered according to their actual function.

Consistent spelling of personal and company names in passports, civil-status records, diplomas, powers of attorney and register extracts requires particular attention. The translation is aligned across the complete document set rather than treating each page in isolation.

Personal and family files commonly contain birth, marriage and death records, residence certificates and criminal-record certificates. In diplomas and transcripts, the links between degree, subject, course, grade and qualification are retained.

Commercial files may combine register extracts, resolutions, contracts, powers of attorney and bank documents. The translation distinguishes the company's official name, legal form, authority of its representatives and registration particulars.

When a Bulgarian or Turkish institution requires a certified translation, the translated text is linked to the submitted source and the translator's signature is authenticated under the applicable procedure. Its exact form follows the document's purpose.

Multipage records and their attachments are arranged as one sequence. Visible stamps, signatures, certifications and notes are separated from the main text so that the structure of the original remains clear.

Bulgaria and Türkiye are parties to the Hague Apostille Convention. Where the applicable procedure requires it, a public document is authenticated with an apostille by a competent authority in the country of origin, without subsequent consular legalisation.

An apostille authenticates the origin of the document and does not replace its translation. The document type, issuer, any applicable exemption and the Bulgarian or Turkish recipient's requirements determine the exact preparation.
