Translation of Certificate of Social Security, Employment Record or Income (NSSI)

Certificates of insurance service, employment service and social-insurance income have different evidential functions. A service certificate records periods, positions, duration and, where applicable, the category of work. An income certificate records the amounts and periods used in pension or other social-security calculations.

NSSI may issue a certificate from documents deposited in its Insurance Archive by a terminated insurer with no legal successor. UP-13 and UP-15 records coexist with older UP-2 and UP-3 forms issued by employers or other competent bodies. The translation follows the actual document without merging those separate functions.

Language control covers the insured person’s names and identifiers, the insurer’s name and legal succession, positions held, the start and end of every period, interruptions, working time, category of work and calculated service. Signatures, seals, outgoing reference, archive references and electronic validation features are included as visible source content.

For an income certificate, each year and month, currency, gross or insurable amount, column, subtotal, total and note concerning unavailable data is checked. Terminology is aligned across the file, particularly when the certificate accompanies an employment record book, payroll records, employer statements or pension correspondence.

A certified translation may form part of a pension or benefit claim, recognition of insurance periods, proof of professional experience or an administrative review abroad. Intended use matters because one authority may request the full personal document while another relies on official exchange between competent social-security institutions.

Preparation includes extraction of tables, identification of legible authentication features, specialist translation, independent revision and final comparison with the source. Translation does not recalculate service or income and does not replace a pension authority’s decision; it accurately presents the data certified by the issuer.

Certification of the translation concerns the translated document. An apostille, consular legalisation or other authentication of the Bulgarian source concerns its origin and signature. They are separate services determined by the destination, receiving body and the way in which the certificate was issued.

Within the European Union or under international social-security agreements, some information may be exchanged directly between institutions. That does not mean every personal or employer-issued record is accepted without translation. The actual route follows the written requirement of the specific body, without universal promises about apostille or exemption from authentication.

Price depends on the language pair, page count, table density, number of employers and periods, legibility, archive notes, turnaround and type of certified copy. A certificate covering one period differs substantially from a multi-page schedule containing monthly income, interruptions and attachments.

Translation, independent revision, certification, extra copies, source-document handling and delivery are calculated separately when required. The preliminary quotation reflects the actual structure and purpose of the record rather than applying one generic price to an undefined NSSI certificate.

Turnaround includes table preparation, translation, independent revision and verification of every period, employer, position, amount and total. A legible electronic record containing all pages can be processed more predictably than photographs with cropped columns, unclear seals or missing continuation sheets.

Issue of the certificate by NSSI, an employer or another authority is separate from translation. Apostille, subsequent legalisation, procurement of a duplicate and international delivery also have independent schedules and enter the overall timeline only when they form part of the order.

A legible PDF or clear images of every page allow identification of the certificate type, language, tables, periods, attachments and visible authentication. Non-essential personal data may be concealed for an initial assessment if the structure, issuer and volume remain identifiable.

One file may include the certificate, employment or insurance record book, employer statements, decisions, correspondence and forms from the foreign authority. Joint assessment keeps names, employers and insurance terms consistent. The original is needed only where a particular authentication or submission requirement calls for it.
