Document issued in Bulgaria
1. Requirements for the document format.
1.1. Outgoing number and date; it must be stated for which country it is intended; the grading system in Bulgaria must be described; there must be no corrections or abbreviations; binding stamp from the issuing university, between the pages and/or on the back of the document.
1.2. It can be legalized in original form or as a certified copy (the original is attached for reference).
1.3. In case of completed higher education, the diploma is attached for reference.
2. Steps for legalization of the document and fees.
2.1. Company fee for translation of the document.

2.4. State fee for the Directorate "Consular Relations" at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Document issued by a foreign country
1. Requirements for the document format.
1.1. With an APOSTILLE from countries that are members of the Hague Convention (see the question "Which countries are members of the Hague Convention?").
1.2. In cases where the document comes from a country that is not a member of the Hague Convention and there is no bilateral agreement, it must be issued as an original with a wet stamp from the foreign ministry of the respective country and a stamp from the Bulgarian embassy in that country.
1.3. For Macedonia, Romania, Russia and other countries with which we have bilateral relations, the document can be legalized without an APOSTILLE (see the question "List of countries with which Bulgaria has a signed bilateral agreement").
