The electronic apostille (e-apostille) has the same value and requisites, respecting the requirements of the Hague Convention on the Abolition of the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Acts, as the physical apostille. The only difference between the electronic and the physical apostille is in the seals and signatures affixed. In the case of the electronic apostille the signature and the seal are also electronic, whereas in the case of the physical apostille the same are affixed manually. Nevertheless both versions hold equal power. As for the validity of the electronic apostilles, it is the same as for the physical ones, i. e. it is not limited in time.
