1. Requirements for the document format.

1.1. Original on the letterhead of the Ministry of Education and Science with outgoing number and date; signature and seal of the issuing institution, accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science (see question "Which are the accredited higher education institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science?"); the grading system in Bulgaria must be described.

1.2. It can be legalized in original or as a certified copy (the original is attached for reference).

1.3. In case of completed higher education, the diploma is attached for reference.

2.2. State fee for the National Centre for Information and Documentation.

2.3. Company fee for filing the document with the National Centre for Information and Documentation.

2.4. State fee for the Directorate "Consular Relations" at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Document issued by a foreign country

1. Requirements for the document format.

1.1. With APOSTILLE from member states of the Hague Convention (see question "Which countries are members of the Hague Convention?").

1.2. In cases where the document comes from a country that is not a member of the Hague Convention and there is no bilateral agreement, it must be issued as an original with a wet stamp from the foreign ministry of the respective country and a stamp from the Embassy of Bulgaria in that country.

1.3. For Macedonia, Romania, Russia and other countries with which we have bilateral relations, the document may be legalized without APOSTILLE (see question "List of countries with which Bulgaria has signed a bilateral agreement").
