1. Requirements for the document format.
1.1. Original on an Ministry of Education and Science form with an outgoing number and date; signature and stamp of the issuing institution, accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science (see Question "Which are the accredited higher education institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science?"); the grading system in Bulgaria must be described.
1.2. It may be legalized in original or as a copied transcript (the original is attached for reference).
1.3. In case of completed higher education, the diploma is attached for reference.
2. Steps for legalization of the document and fees.
2.1. Company fee for translation of the document.

Document issued by a foreign country
1. Requirements for the document format.
1.1. With an APOSTILLE from member states of the Hague Convention (see question "Which countries are members of the Hague Convention?").
1.2. In cases where the document comes from a country that is not a member of the Hague Convention and has no bilateral agreement, it must be issued as an original with a wet stamp from the foreign ministry of the respective country and a stamp from the Bulgarian embassy in that country.
1.3. For Macedonia, Romania, Russia and other countries with which we have bilateral relations, the document may be legalized without APOSTILLE (see question "List of countries with which Bulgaria has signed a bilateral agreement").
