Legalization Prices

Legalization, apostille and certification by authority and procedure

The public price list is organised by authority and procedure and separates the government fee from the La Fit Trans service fee. A specific quotation reflects the document type and origin, country of use, required certifications, timing and any translation.

How is the legalization price formed?

A legalization price combines only the applicable components: an administrative or consular fee, agency service, notarial certification, apostille, translation certification and delivery. Translation is priced separately when required, and a zero government fee in the table does not mean that every other part of the procedure is free.

Document, country and receiving authority

The procedure depends on the countries of issue and use, the document type, issuing body and receiving authority. The original or certified-copy status, existing signatures and stamps, page count, completed translation and selected administrative timing also affect the route and price.

Published procedures can be filtered by authority and service; search narrows the visible rows without changing the government or agency fee.

What can a quotation include?

A quotation may cover apostille, institutional or consular legalization, notarial certification, certification of a translator’s signature, written or certified translation and delivery. These services are not automatically bundled; the document and place of use determine the required combination.

Apostille, certification and consular legalization

An apostille authenticates a public document for use under the Hague Convention where that regime applies. Other countries or documents may require a chain of certifications by a Bulgarian authority, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a diplomatic mission; translation certification is a separate action.

End-to-end service timing

The overall schedule combines every required step: preliminary certification, apostille or legalization, translation, translation certification and delivery. It depends on the operating time of each authority, document readiness and availability of the original, not only on translation speed.

Processing time by authority

Working days shown in the price list refer to a particular institutional service and are not a universal deadline for the full document set. Holidays, amended administrative rules, additional checks or a missing prior certification can add time reflected in the individual quotation.

Preliminary online assessment

A legible electronic copy reveals the issuer, signatures and stamps, page count, language and visible certifications. The country and receiving authority are added to these details to build a quotation with separate procedures, fees and expected timing.

What determines the final price?

The total contains government or consular fees, the agency fee, VAT and only the additional services actually required. Document and page count, certification type, translation, notarial work, courier and selected administrative timing may appear as separate items.

Details needed for an accurate quotation

An accurate assessment uses the document type, country and issuing body, country and authority of use, available original or copy, existing certifications and translation language. These details distinguish the applicable route from unnecessary actions and costs.

Related prices and services

The general prices page explains the complete quotation, while the translation price list covers written-text rates. Document translation, certified translation, legalization and apostille pages provide further context according to the document’s origin and intended use.

One coordinated quotation for the full process

La Fit Trans combines document review, route planning, translation and handling between the applicable authorities in one traceable quotation. Government fees, agency service, translation, VAT and delivery are separated before confirmation so the price of each step remains visible.

Frequently Asked Questions About Legalization Prices

What determines the legalization price?

The price depends on the document, countries of issue and use, receiving authority, certification type and administrative timing. Government or consular fees, agency service, translation, notarial work, apostille and delivery may all be relevant.

How is the total price calculated?

The total combines applicable institutional fees, the La Fit Trans fee, VAT and required additional services. Each component is shown separately because translation, apostille and certification are not automatically included in one another.

Is there always a government fee?

No. Some institutional actions have no government fee or it does not apply to a particular document. A zero amount in that column does not remove the agency service, translation, notarial work, courier or other necessary costs.

Is apostille included in legalization?

Apostille is a distinct method of authenticating a public document under the Hague Convention. When that route does not apply, institutional or consular legalization may be needed, while certification of a translation remains a separate step.

How long does legalization take?

Timing depends on the number and order of procedures. Working days in the table cover the named institutional service; translation, notarial certification, a following authority, delivery or an additional check can add time.

What information is needed for an accurate assessment?

A legible copy, document type and issuer, country and authority of use, existing signatures and stamps, page count and translation language are needed. These details identify the correct route and exclude unnecessary services.

A specific legalization quotation

The preliminary review turns a public rate into a document-specific quotation with a clear sequence, government and agency fees, translation, certifications and timing. Applicable services are separated before the procedure begins.
