Statement of claim translation

A statement of claim initiates a dispute and defines its subject matter. It normally identifies the court, the parties and their representatives, the facts relied upon, the relief requested and the signature. Evidence, authorities, powers of attorney, schedules and copies for the other parties may form part of the filing.

Translation is relevant when a foreign-language claim is used in Bulgarian proceedings or when Bulgarian court papers are filed or served abroad. The receiving court, lawyer or authority determines the language, number of copies and form of certification, while the translation is prepared around the actual case bundle.
