Translation Prices

Written translation rates by language, document group and deadline

Published rates are organised by language, document group and order type. Each amount applies to one translation page, while a specific quotation also reflects direction, actual volume and the document’s intended use.

How is written translation priced?

One translation page contains 1,800 characters including spaces in the completed translation, not one physical page of the source document. Character volume can change between languages, so an electronic copy supports the initial assessment and the quotation identifies the applicable rate and expected volume.

Language, direction, group and volume

Written translation rates reflect the language pair and direction, document group I-IV, number of translation pages, terminology, legibility, formatting and selected priority. Languages with separate “into the language” and “from the language” rows have a distinct rate for each direction.

Prices are for one translation page of 1,800 characters including spaces, excluding VAT.

What does the price list cover?

The table covers written translation. Certified presentation, notarial certification, apostille, legalization, government or consular fees and delivery are outside the translation rate unless a line explicitly says otherwise. They are added separately only when required by the document.

Document groups I-IV

The groups distinguish common levels of structure and terminology, from short certificates and civil records to contracts, medical, technical and other specialised texts. The specific document is assigned after review, with representative examples available on the general prices page.

Written translation deadlines

Timing depends on the language pair, volume, complexity, source-file quality and available translator capacity. When certification or an administrative procedure is part of the order, its processing time is added separately to the translation schedule.

Standard, priority and express orders

The three modes indicate different execution priority rather than one universal number of hours for every language and document. The actual deadline is confirmed in the quotation according to volume and availability; higher priority is offered only when quality can be maintained.

Certified translation price

A certified translation combines the written-text rate with the required official presentation. Certification varies with the document and receiving authority, so translation and certification appear as separate quotation components.

How is the final price formed?

The total comprises the number of translation pages at the applicable rate, VAT and only the additional services actually required. Complex layout, tables, illegible passages, specialised terminology, certification, apostille, legalization and delivery may appear as separate items.

Preliminary online assessment

A clear electronic copy establishes the language, direction, approximate volume, document group and need for official presentation. The preliminary assessment states the rate, expected number of translation pages and deadline; an original is needed only when a later procedure requires it.

Clear pricing and coordinated delivery

La Fit Trans brings written translation, review and any required official presentation into one traceable quotation. Work follows ISO 17100 translation-service processes, while translation, certification, institutional fees, VAT and delivery are separated before confirmation.

Related pricing and translation services

The general prices page explains the complete quotation, while the legalization price list covers administrative procedures. Document translation, certified translation, apostille and online translation pages provide context for the way the document will be used.

Frequently Asked Questions About Translation Prices

What is one translation page?

One translation page contains 1,800 characters including spaces in the completed translation. It does not necessarily equal one physical source page because volume changes by language and content.

Do translation prices include VAT?

Published table rates exclude VAT. The specific quotation lists VAT separately together with all applicable services and fees.

How is document group I, II, III or IV determined?

The group reflects document type, structure and terminology. Short standard certificates and specialised medical, technical or legal texts therefore fall into different groups.

What is the difference between standard, priority and express service?

The modes represent different priority and price. The actual deadline depends on language, volume and available capacity and is confirmed in the quotation.

Is certification included in the written translation rate?

No, unless a specific line explicitly states otherwise. Official presentation, notarial certification, apostille and legalization are priced separately for the document’s intended use.

How is an exact online price established?

A clear copy reveals language, direction, approximate volume, group and required procedures. The quotation then states the rate, expected translation pages, deadline and separate additional services.

An exact price for written translation

The preliminary review turns a listed rate into a specific quotation with language direction, document group, expected volume, priority and separately identified additional services. Price and deadline are clear before work begins.
