Translation of a certified extract from an employment record book

A certified extract reproduces selected entries from the employment record book rather than necessarily reproducing the entire document. It may cover one employer, a sequence of positions, a defined period or all entries needed to demonstrate length of service and professional experience.

The record book, the certified source extract and its translation are separate documents. The paper book remains relevant to service recorded up to 1 June 2025, while later Bulgarian employment data is also maintained in the unified electronic employment record. The translation follows the actual source presented and does not merge the two systems.

A reliable extract identifies the holder, employer, place and type of work, position, starting and leaving dates, grounds for a change or termination and the calculated employment service. Signatures, stamps, corrections, notes and order numbers are reflected when they belong to the certified source.

For a partial extract, the beginning and end of the included entries must be unambiguous. Blank pages, continued tables, later certifications and links between two entries are checked so that the employment chronology is not interrupted or misrepresented.

The translation preserves the order of entries, table columns and abbreviations. Employer names, positions, organisational units, legal grounds, dates and periods of service remain consistent across every translated page and related document.

Handwritten entries, faded stamps, deletions and official corrections are distinguished from translator notes. The linguistic service reproduces the available data; it does not recalculate service, fill missing periods or replace certification by an employer or competent authority.

A foreign recipient may accept certified copies of selected pages, an official extract, a translator-certified version or a file with further authentication. The correct format depends on the destination country, receiving institution and the manner in which the Bulgarian source was certified.

An apostille or consular legalisation is not added automatically to every employment record. La Fit Trans assesses the document origin, certification of the copy, certification of the translation and any institutional processing separately so that the service follows the actual requirement.

The price reflects the language pair, number of included pages and entries, legibility of handwriting and stamps, complexity of job titles and legal grounds, deadline and certification format. Multiple employers, older forms, corrections and accumulated-service tables require additional editorial checking.

The proposal distinguishes translation, independent revision, the certified counterpart, official charges and delivery where applicable. The amount therefore follows the actual scope of the extract rather than the generic label “employment record book”.

A short extract with clear typed entries can be processed faster than a book with many employers, handwritten notes, corrections and linked pages. A missing date, illegible stamp or interrupted table requires clarification before final control.

Translation and revision time is separate from the period required to issue an official extract, complete a notarial certification or obtain institutional processing. A combined schedule identifies the linguistic work, certification and delivery stages separately.

Legible images of the cover, identity page, all selected entries and their continuations show the real scope of work. Visible stamps, signatures, order numbers, corrections and certification details allow the terminology and layout to be assessed properly.

The preliminary remote review covers the language, number of pages, revision needs, certification format and deadline. The physical original or official extract is involved only where the selected certification or receiving institution requires it.
