An employment contract records the relationship between an employer and an employee. ## What information appears in an employment contract?

## Why is an employment contract different from a service contract?
An employment contract describes employment with a workplace, working time, position, pay and organisational subordination. A civil, freelance or works contract generally covers the independent delivery of a defined result. The documents are not interchangeable in translation because their names, rights and intended uses differ and must remain clear to the recipient.
## How are data and legal terms kept consistent in translation?
The translation follows the names of the parties, company registration number, addresses, job title, dates, term, working hours, amounts and currency. Personal names are aligned with identity documents and with related employment records when those are supplied together.
## What copy can be prepared for use abroad?
