An export health certificate accompanies a specific shipment and records details of the product, origin, operator and official controls. The form number and title are checked against the certificate actually issued: in BFSA's published list, KH No. 35 identifies a different administrative document, while export health certificates containing English and Russian text are listed as KH No. 38A and KH No. 39A. Translation and administrative preparation follow the issued certificate and the current requirements for the specific export.
## Which document needs to be translated?
Customers send every page of the issued certificate, its annexes and the recipient's instructions. We check the title, form number, issuing authority, language columns and destination against the original. A similarly named form or a different form number is not treated as equivalent unless the issuer or recipient confirms it.
## Which details must remain exact?
The translation preserves the exporter and consignee, producer or establishment, countries of origin and destination, description of the food or materials, lots, quantities, packaging and transport. Conditions, declarations, reference numbers, dates, signatures, seals and official notes are reproduced according to what is visible in the source.
## Is a bilingual form sufficient?
Not in every case. Printed English or Russian text may cover part of the form, but completed fields, handwritten entries, annexes and later certifications may appear only in Bulgarian.
